We achieved CHAS accreditation in April 2010 and adhere to PUWER/LOLER and COSHH plus other industry practices.
We have several teams comprising of highly talented climbers carrying out British Standard pruning as standard to skilled machinery operators, dedicated live lining and shut down teams, grass cutters, hedge planters and plain hard grafters. We are regularly audited with both on site spot checks and bi-annually by our clients and have achieved significant improvements with each audit. We have scored 5 ‘excellent site with proactive safety culture evident, compying with all requirements’ on LCC/Mouchel highways and traffic site safety inspiection report. Although Lincolnshire Tree Services’ risk assessment forms has been praised by contractors, we self audit as company policy and constantly look for ways to improve our training and health and safety delivery. Director James Kendall holds a Bsc Hons in Landscape Ecology and HND in Agriculture. Ben Redford completed half a year of an ND in Landcaping and Horticulture before taking a practical route to specialist pruning. 4 members of Lincolnshire Tree Services are Visual Tree Assessment (VTA) and Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) trained with others soon to take these professional courses for tree reporting.
As a company we are working towards Arboricultural Association membership and have started on an Environmental Management System (EMS) to gain BS8555 and strengthen cleaner, greener ways to work.
